"Theater in Asia" Translated by Majid Sar Sangi

Written by Jemez R. Brandon "Theater of Asia" has been recently released with a Persian translation by Majid Sar Sangi.
IRAN THEATER – After the introductions of the translator and writer, the book includes 20 chapters which monitor theater in 20 different Asian countries; Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand and so on.
The writer pointes in the introduction: "Collecting the ideas of the regional experts, the book aims to follow the theatrical revolutions of Asia and Oceania, from north; china to south; Indonesia, and from west; Pakistan to east; Polynesia."
In addition the book includes some information on the artists, actors and directors of these countries. Also a selection of the important English notes about these countries comes at the end.
It is mentionable that the book enjoys the collaborations of Mitra Alavi Talab, Rasoul Shirazi, David Abassi, Khatere Behfar, Ashraf Mir Nezami and Abdol Hussein Mortazavi and is published by Namayesh Press Company in 2000 copies.
